The growth of gold flakes is a statistical process with results ranging from super tiny nanometer-sized chunks to more desirable large platelets which are even visible to the naked eye. To optimize the growing process for the latter outcome I implemented a numeric code for simulating the flake growth and studying the influence of various factors.
The tool is written in the “Rust” programming language und you can download it from here, compile it and change it as you want. However, you can also play with the tool directly right inside your browser to get a first impression. I would also recommend to read the instructions or maybe even some background information how the growth works in general.
